The sale includes ephemera such as postcards, along with collectible editions signed by authors, and other items.
The one-day vintage book sale will take place Saturday, Sept. 29, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the library, 40 Library St. Admission is free and the public is welcome. Call (860) 536-7721 for more information.
The sale helps support the historic library which serves surrounding communities including the towns of Groton and Stonington. The Library is more than 100 years old and was founded in 1893 by Captain Elihu Spicer.
